Dieses Material schult das genaue Hören, Sprechen und Unterscheiden der Vokale. Ein Wort wird vorgesprochen, der darin vorkommende Vokal soll bestimmt werden. Jeder Selbstlaut kann einzeln angehört und mit dem gesprochenen Wort verglichen werden. Wird ein Vokal falsch zugeordnet, so ist das Wort auch mit diesem Laut zu hören. Die Wortauswahl beschränkt sich auf Wörter mit gut hörbaren langgesprochenen Vokalen. Für die Einzelarbeit am Computer oder als Klassentraining konzipiert. Übungsmöglichkeiten hierzu im Anhang.

A1 Modal Verb Practice 2

This worksheet is made to further introduce students to the following modal verbs: Should, can, could, might, may, would, and will. While a key is provided, students will likely suggest answers that also make sense given the sentence that is listed in the worksheet. I use this as an opportunity to show students that finding the correct modal verb has more to do with the context in which the sentence is being said than the sentence itself (example: when asking a friend for permission, people use "can," when asking a colleague, people use "could" or "may")This is not going to leave students with an expert understanding of modal verbs, but it serves as a good introduction to the concept.
