YouTuber - CharlieIsSoCoolLike - Reading and Grammar Exercises
I created this worksheet for my 6th grader students to evaluate their reading comprehension, their ability to differentiate between the Past and Present Simple Tense, to recognize and use the regular and irregular forms of the verbs in Past Simple, making questions and answering them. I tried to make the tasks as authentic as possible, so the students wouldn't see just simple grammar drills, but to really use their English knowledge. I got the text from this link: https://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/study-break/graded-reading/why-charlie-so-cool-level-1 It's about a 16-years-old guy who became a famous YouTuber - a topic I think it's interesting to every 12-13 years old student - or so I hope :) The worksheet includes true or false tasks, asking and answering questions, verb categorizing, sentence rewriting tasks for those students who still struggle with English after 6 years of study and justification, creative writing exercises for those who have already acquired a great A2 skill. So hopefully every student can find something easy or challenging to do.
