THIS IS AN EASY WAY OF TEACHING THE ALPHABET, BECAUSE PUPILS CAN ASSOCIATE THE SOUND OF LETTERS TO THE MELODY.

Alphabet sounds

This is great to all level, because English learners can always practice the pronunciation of the letters. (Spelling names, or spelling on the phone ect.)Students practice pronouncing the letters and they categorize them by sound. The advanced version of this is then to play a game of "Scategories" with confusing letters such as W and V for German-English speakers.

Diese Buchstabensuppe war Teil eines Englisch-Vorkurses mit verschiedenen Stationen. Sie eignet sich also zum ersten schulischen Umgang mit bereits bekannten englischen Wörtern. Oben waren noch Bildchen von einer Buchstabensuppe eingefügt, die aus Copyrightgründen gelöscht werden mussten.

Alphabet Taboo Classroom Poster

Your partner or teacher has to guess what picture is shown on your card. Taboo game. Print and then cut up. Practice letters of the alphabet. Beginners can use word suggestions (if they can read) to describe the picture on the card. No sounds or gestures are allowed. Can be used as alphabet flashcards also.
