This is a tale from the indian culture. Akbar & Birbal Tales are fables told by the old generations in India about the smar and wise Birbal, the minister of the king Akbar, and the different tasks and questions Akbar had for him.This story is about a merchant whose money was stolen and went to the King to help him. Birbal was sent to find the thief and return the money. Would he be able to do so? and how?

Akbar & Birbal Tales: What's Cooking

Akbar and Birbal Tales are originally indians fables. Akbar was a king of Mughal and Birbal (as said to be a title ) was his Minister. Those tales are glimps of Birbal´s wisdom and cleverness. ------------------------ Summary: A poor man took on a challenge from the king Akbar to spend a whold winter night in a freezing pool. The man kept his part of the challenge but Akbar did not. Why? What would the poor man do? ------------------------
